Christine Wilson is the Executive Administrator and Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator for Tacoma Housing Authority (THA).  In addition to her service to Homeward Bound in Puyallup and the Puyallup Homeless Coalition, she volunteers as the current secretary and past chair for the South Hill Community Council, and volunteers as the team manager for her daughter’s club soccer team.  Prior to her arrival at THA, Christine worked as Legislative Aide and Councilmember Assistant to former State Senator and Pierce County Councilmember Calvin Goings.  Christine’s parents both volunteered countless hours in their community instilled the importance of community service; she was elected Fire Commissioner in 1997 and served the citizens of Central Pierce Fire and Rescue.  Christine is married to Lew Wilson and they have three children who attend/attended school in the Puyallup School District.  They have called Puyallup home since 1989.

Jerry owns and manages Gintz Accounting & Tax, LLC and Pathfinder Financial, LLC.  He has owned both businesses for 25 years, here in Puyallup, serving individuals and small businesses.   He helped organize the Crown Financial Ministries program at PNC in 2002.  Since then he has been an active Money Map Coach within the Crown ministry program.  He helped with the Freezing Nights start-up.  Recently he was invited onto the Homeward Bound in Puyallup Board.   He currently is Vice-president of that organization.  Jerry is currently the state president for the Washington Association of Accountants. He enjoys supporting his wife in local community theater productions. 

Ric Rose is a disability attorney with an office in Puyallup.  Before he became an attorney, Ric was director of a non-profit organization that provided homes for the disabled in Pierce County.  Ric views his participation on the Homeward Bound Puyallup board as a natural extension of his advocacy for the disabled in their efforts to obtain housing and healthcare.

Paula Anderson works as a Case Manager for the Rescue Mission’s Adams Street Family Campus. In addition to her service to Homeward Bound in Puyallup and the Puyallup Homeless Coalition, she volunteers as a leadership team member and advisor/coordinator for the Freezing Nights Ministry and has served as the Chairwoman of the Puyallup Homeless Coalition for the last three years.  Prior to her arrival at the Rescue Mission, Paula worked as a Project Manager for sixteen years with a major health organization and raised three children who attended Puyallup schools.  She has lived in the Puyallup/South Hill  area for over 20 years.

Kent McLaren earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Washington State University and has worked in the South Puget Sound region as a licensed Architect since 1990. He has served as lead architect and project manager for a wide range of affordable and special needs housing, and community recreation projects. In addition to his service to Homeward Bound Puyallup, he has served as a Volunteer for the city of Tacoma Office of Historic Preservation to chair community meetings to establish design guidelines for new housing in Tacoma’s Hilltop District and has also volunteered to serve Rebuilding South Sound Together.  He is a member of Rotary Tacoma 8 and serves on the Advisory Board and Facilities Committee for the Tacoma Center YMCA. He enjoys delivering projects with a view toward environmental sustainability, being one of the first to complete a new family shelter under Washington State’s Evergreen Sustainable Design Standards. Past clients include Tacoma Housing Authority, Rescue Mission, and Catholic Housing Services. Kent also has volunteered to assist the Puyallup Homeless Coalition to develop a Strategic Plan to eliminate homelessness in the greater Puyallup area.

Rev. Ann Berney has been a pastor for 25 years serving United Methodist churches throughout Washington State. She has been in Puyallup for the last five years. Before attending seminary, she  worked as a Registered Nurse, including three years serving the rural poor in Northeast Brazil, and one year at a senior adult day care in inner-city Oakland, California. She has volunteered with a Catholic Worker Soup kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, Tent City II and a variety of other emergency shelter and meal programs. In Puyallup she has helped with the Armory dinner program, Phoenix Housing, Family Renewal Shelter, and a summer lunch program for children.  Her church has been active in the Freezing Nights program.
